Excitement around Austin’s first-ever Design Week will no doubt grow exponentially now that its schedule is live.
The event is intended to be an interdisciplinary, multi-event gathering where designers of all kinds—from fashion to architecture to digital to film and more—can meet up
Schedule highlights so far include talks about unifying and strengthening Austin’s design community, led by frog design; studio tours at Matt Fajkus Architecture and Pentagram, an urban design tour of Mueller parks, and a design debate and election viewing party hosted by AIA Austin’s DesignVoice and SXSWEco.
Design Week reps say the keynote speaker and more special events will be announced soon.
Austin Design Week starts Nov. 7; you can find information about registration and lots of other things at its website.
