What it costs to buy in Mueller right now

The planned community is still awash in new builds

In an ongoing series with Curbed Austin, real-estate analytics site NeighborhoodX is taking a close look at sales price ranges in different Austin neighborhoods. You can take a closer look, too, with their handy, interactive chart below.

Today's asking-price analysis focuses on the Mueller neighborhood. A planned development located on the former site of Austin's municipal airport, Mueller is bounded by a short stretch of I-35 on its western edge, which extends southeast along Airport Boulevard, swinging northeast along 38-1/2 Street and Manor Boulevard, and then back west along East 51st Street on its northern border.

The average listing price is in Mueller right now is $277/square foot, but the properties contributing this average range from $258/square foot (4608 Camacho Street, preconstruction price on what will be a four-bedroom, single-family home) to $350/square foot (2203 E 51st Street, unit A or B in nifty duplex built partially with shipping containers).
