This $4.95M West Austin Home Inexplicably Has Four Fireplaces

For our four-day winters, we're guessing

If you are going to buy a home in a gated subdivision, this 7,676-square-foot contemporary might be the one to go for. It's on just over an acre of land in a place called the Preserve At Lost Gold Cave, which the listing says is in Westlake. In reality it's a little southwest of that neighborhood proper, but its houses are comparable in cost and size, and it's in the Eanes school district, so close enough.

The main house four bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms, along with a game room, a wine-tasting room, four fireplaces, and at least three ovens. It also has a workout room and pool that are both elegantly designed to fit in with the sleek simplicity of the property—something builders often don't consider when adding those features.

In addition, there is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom guest suite with its own entrance—perfect for taking in boarders if the $4,950,000 price tag is just out reach.
