It must be Craftsman week in Austin. This is second house of that style on the market we've noticed this week, and there are surely more. This North University home has been updated but looks to have retained many of the distinctive details that cause fans of the period to go a little weak in the knees.
The two-story frame home also has the distinction of once having been owned by past UT President William James Battle, whom many campus-goers will recognize as the namesake of Battle Hall, which houses the School of Architecture. It has been on and off the market in the past couple of years and was asking $850,000 in December 2015.
