Can This Cute but Tiny East Side Cabin Fetch $299K?

New, 1 comment

It's adorable and all, but still

This sweet little house on an out-of-the way part of East 11th Street—there is one—might fulfill our fantasies of turning a fixer-upper into an efficient, cozy urban cabin in the woods. Except it's already been fixed up, and it's listed for $299,000.

It's nice that the owners didn't tear it down and kept its basic spirit and structure—one bedroom, one bathroom, 452 square feet. But will buying a DIY project that's already been done by someone else for almost $300,000 appeal to anyone?

We'll let the invisible hand make the call on this one.
