Homes in the Range: The Highs and Lows of Hyde Park

How much do sales prices in the neighborhood vary?

Hyde Park sale price range

In this ongoing series, real-estate analytics site NeighborhoodX is taking a close look at sales prices ranges in different Austin neighborhoods.

Today's focus is the central Hyde Park neighborhood, which forms sort of an "L" shape between East 38th and East 51st streets, roughly bounded by Guadalupe Street on the west and I-35 on the east (with a chunk of the Hancock neighborhood adjacent to part of that)

NeighborhoodX analyzed the properties currently listed for sale in Hyde Park and found that while current median asking price is $298/square foot, prices range from $230/sq.ft. to $358/sq.ft.

The most expensive house per square foot is one we featured here last week, a bungalow on Avenue B.

* The least expensive home, measured in price per square foot, is on East 49th Street at $230/square foot.
