The 5 Most Expensive Homes Sold in Austin Last Week Are Not All Gigantic

New, 2 comments

Size wasn't everything for this week's buyers, but lake frontage and/or style seemed to float their boats

4806 Park Lane, $1,500,000, listed $165,000: The 200 feet of Lake Travis waterfront, dock, and lake views were the big selling points for this home in Marshall Ford, just past the edge of Steiner Ranch. It has five bedrooms and four bathrooms, including a guest quarters with separate entrance, in 3,760 square feet.

2419 Hartford Road, $1,499,000, listed at $1,499,000: A Pemberton home on a half-acre lot set back from a busy street, remodeled extensively in 2001, the house has three bedrooms and three and half bathrooms in 3,265 square feet.

15900 Fontaine Avenue, $1,350,000, listed $1,400,00: Another lakeside home takes the number-three spot, this one on 1.3 acres in the gated Vineyard Bay community on Lake Travis. It comes with a boat dock, and lots of subdivision amenities, including a helipad. The 5,059-square-foot house has five bedrooms and five bathrooms.

2702 Jefferson Street, $1,345,000, listed $1,395,000: New construction in what the realtor believes is Pemberton, this two-story, 3,378 home is central but has Hill Country views. Plus four bedrooms, four bathrooms, wood floors, a game room, and room for a pool.

1703 Newton Street, $1,247,500, listed $1,300,000: We featured this 2,200-square-foot Bouldin neighborhood home back in March, and it's still one of our favorites. A new build by architect/designer Dig:A, it has three bedrooms, two and half bathrooms, and a sweet interior courtyard.
