Austin Rent Comparison: What $750/Month Gets You

Agave Falls, 1901 East Anderson Lane, studio, $687/month: The economy-minded can get a studio with kitchenette and bathroom separating the living room and bedroom in Coronado Hills. Not bad. Pets with more deposits and rents.

Mission Grace Woods Apartment Homes, 3209 S. Interstate Highway 35, one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment, $783/month: This 523-square-foot one-bedroom is on the east side of I-35 in the Parker Lane neighborhood. That's fairly close to St. Edward's University as well as, yeah, the highway. Cats, small dogs, and large dogs are all welcome for extra deposits and rent.

Walnut Creek Crossing, 2000 Cedar Bend Drive, one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment, $741/month: A ride north to the Gracy Woods neighborhood, almost to Pflugerville, gets you a 508-square-foot home in a nice-looking complex with the expected amenities. Cats and dogs okay, limit two pets.

Travis Station, 6600 Ed Bluestein Boulevard, one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment, $703/month: A 500-square-foot space in what look like nicely kept apartments on the eastern edge of Windsor Park. Pets okay.

Wildcreek Apartments, 1511 Faro Drive, one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment, $759/month: A 525-square-foot one-bedroom in a Pleasant Valley complex. Pets allowed.
