Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton intends to sue the Obama administration over the president’s directive that local schools grant equal bathroom access to transgender students based on their gender identity, according to a story just posted by the Austin-American Statesman. Paxton had scheduled a 2 p.m. press conference to speak about the matter, the post adds, but Governor Greg Abbott confirmed the move with an 11 a.m. tweet.
