Neighborhood Market Watch: How Much It Costs to Buy in Rosedale Right Now

The going rate on a family home in North Central Austin

In this ongoing series, real-estate analytics site NeighborhoodX is taking a close look at sales price ranges in different Austin neighborhoods.

Today's focus is the Rosedale neighborhood, which NeighborhoodX also looked at in early April. Rosedale is a friendly, family, wonkily shaped area in north central Austin, bordered by parts of Burnet Road and Lamar Boulevard, approximately between West 38th Street and North Loop Boulevard West/Hancock Drive.

For May, the neighborhood has an average home sale listing price of $390/square foot. The properties that make up that average range from $234/square foot (3203 Highland Terrace) to $544/square foot (4110 Shoal Creek Boulevard).
