Neighborhood Market Watch: How Much It Costs to Buy in North Loop

A neighborhood abuzz with new restaurants and retail

In an ongoing series for Curbed Austin, real-estate analytics site NeighborhoodX is taking a close look at sales prices ranges in different neighborhoods.

The analytics site recently took a new look at the North Loop neighborhood, which is bordered by North Lamar Boulevard on the west, Airport Boulevard on the East, West Koenig Lane on the north, and 51st Street (west and east) on the south. The site also did an analysis of the area in May.

For June, the average asking price in North Loop is $311/square foot, but the individual properties that make up this average range from $198/square foot (a multifamily house at 5403 Evans Avenue) to $411/square foot for a new build (704 East 52nd Street)
