Not all of us can live in places where centuries of history remain (more or less) stacked, stone by stone, all around us in the form of classical columns and turrets and whatnot. Luckily for those who pine for that, we have Spaller Glover, a local design-build firm whose owners keep their European roots alive in their projects.
That doesn’t mean their designs all look like Northern European castles (they’re working on a Spanish modern home right now), but this Bouldin Creek home wears that inspiration on its sleeve (and in its windows).
The outside of the 3,525 two-story is all stone and turrets, but inside an open floor plan, an abundance of natural light, and some spare castle-like touches, such as the chapel-like windows in an upstairs bedroom (of which the home has three, along with two and a half bathrooms).
Across the green back yard is a two-car garage with upstairs guest house featuring a bedroom, bathroom, and full kitchen.
