In this ongoing series, real-estate analytics site NeighborhoodX is taking a close look at sales prices ranges in different Austin neighborhoods.
Today's focus is the Rosedale neighborhood, a wonkily shaped area in north central Austin, bordered by parts of Burnet Road and Lamar Boulevard, approximately between West 38th Street and North Loop Boulevard West/Hancock Drive.
The current average asking price is $386 per square foot, but the individual properties that make up that average range from $283/square foot (3902 Peterson Avenue #106, a 617-square-foot condo asking $174,900) to $486/square foot (2902 West 44th Street, a remodeled 1956 three-bedroom asking $599,000).
