Like all architectural styles, the modern farmhouse can be executed in ways both stunning or horrid, though we have a slight most-are-horrid bias, it must be said. The word "stunning" doesn’t quite this new build in Hyde Park, but it lands on the well-done end of the spectrum.
The front view dark gray metal and contrasting wood, is striking and has interesting proportions. Inside are sleek finishes, polished concrete and hardwoods, Carrara marble, and lots of windows and sliding glass doors.
The two-story home measures 2410 square feet and has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, along with a what looks like a decent-sized backyard and big, covered patio. It’s on one of Hyde Park’s quieter central streets and a block from Shipe Pool.
