Prices in Austin’s tallest neighborhood

In an ongoing series for Curbed Austin, real-estate analytics site NeighborhoodX is taking a close look at sales price ranges in different neighborhoods.

This week, the site took a look at Downtown, which is generally considered to range from East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to Lady Bird Lake (north to south), with the eastern and western boundaries being I-35 and North Lamar Boulevard, respectively.

The current average listing price in Downtown is $627 per square foot.

However, the prices of the individual properties that make up this average range perhaps more widely than in any other Austin neighborhood—from $157/square foot (1700 West Avenue, a remodel of a 1922 home in the Judge's Hill subdivision) to $1,658/square feet (210 Lavaca Street #3701, in the W residences on the southwest side of Downtown).
