Roomy new East Austin condo asks $715K

Rosewood contemporary doubles down on style

A new build in the central east Rosewood neighborhood, this detached condo was designed by local architecture firm GCDD Group, and parts of its exterior seem to reference elements of the nearby Austin Community College.

The two-story home measures 2,190 square feet and has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Parts are clearly designed for a couple (double sinks and shower heads in master bathroom, mirror-image walk-in closet), and there’s an odd but intriguing open office on the upstairs landing that features two matching desk and reads almost like a co-working space.

The house also features white oak floors, Italian hexagonal tiles and high-end fixtures and finishes, as well as LED lights.

Most compelling are the outdoor spaces; there’s 3,000 square feet of private yard, a rooftop balcony connected to the master suite, and 450 square feet overall of patio space, making it welcoming as well as providing easy opportunities to interact with the surrounding neighborhood.
