Here are your New Year’s Eve street closures

Roads around Zilker Park will be shut down for the city celebration

Austin’s New Year—the city’s official New Year’s Eve party—returns once more to Vic Mathias (née Auditorium) Shores Sunday, and it’s bringing a few road closures with it.

The free, family-friendly, alcohol-free event, which features music and other performances on several stages, along with art, vendors, a food court, and kids’ activities—starts at 3 p.m. and ends with fireworks, which start popping at 10 p.m.
