The Austin Marathon and Half-Marathon coming up Sunday might be our most far-flung event of the year when it comes to street closures (but don’t quote us on that).
Thanks to the Downtown Austin Alliance, we have you covered on that front. Below are routes the marathons will take, useful information whether you want to skedaddle or line up and cheer (or, perhaps, run!).
The event takes place from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 19. Here’s a list of closures and a map. Run along now!
9th Street
Between Congress Avenue and Brazos Street; closure in effect from 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19.
Congress Avenue
Between 11th Street and Fourth Street; closure in effect from 4 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19.
10th Street
Between Brazos Street and Colorado Street; closure in effect 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19.
