South Austin ranch house wants $540K

This ranch-style home, built in 1965, has many charms, but among the best is that it is on a lot with one of our favorite features, found throughout South Austin: it’s located under a canopy of beautiful, towering oak trees that shade the house and its ample yard.

Located on a cul de sac in the South Lamar neighborhood (and close to that boulevard’s many attractions), the house measures 1,453 square feet. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, as well as two living areas and a two-car garage.

The master bathroom has been updated recently, and most of the home has newer-looking features. It also looks like there are several original features, including the kitchen layout and large windows and sliding glass doors throughout the home.

In addition to the aforementioned oaks, the exterior features a generous, screened-in back patio, established landscaping designed for great drainage and beauty, and native and adapted, drought-tolerant perennials and shrubs.
