Last week, or somewhere around then (time is flat-circling about now), we published an exhaustive (and exhausting) street-closure map of 2017 “Spring Festival Season,” as the city calls it. As in previous years, large swaths of downtown have been and will continue to be challenging to navigate for at least some hours every day between March 10 and March 19.

As we shift away from the Interactive and toward the Music portion of the festival (with festival films still screening all week), traffic issues could also shift; there will be fewer visitors overall, but they’ll be more spread out, in clubs throughout town, for more of each day. Live musicians will also be loading and unloading equipment at those clubs.

To that end, we’re offering some more specialized maps created by the city, including passenger drop-off/loading and unloading zones, Austin Bcycle stations, and special pedicab routes.

Check back throughout the week for more. With SXSW, there’s always more.
