Designed by locally based Sago International—the firm that brought us Quinta Azul and other modern masterpieces—this steel-framed, glass-abundant contemporary was listed in May for $1.65 million, then taken off the market in November. Now it’s back, asking $1.5 million.

Inspired by French architect Piere Chareau and originally an architect’s personal home, , the three-story house unfolds in 4,297 square feet of dynamic, open space and features four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms.

The home’s open design showcases exposed steel beams, floor-to-ceiling glass, white oak floors, historic fixtures, and a gourmet kitchen.

A fireplace in the formal living room and floor-to-ceiling, built-in bookcases are also nice touches. Backing to a greenbelt, the home is on a wooded lot that allows privacy, as does its private road.

Located in a the gated community of St. Tropez, just west of Lake Austin, it has ample decks and patios as well as access to pools, boat rentals, a park, and a playground.
