We’ve featured this loft-style Eastside condo a couple of times with a couple of price cuts, and now—with a new, $20,000 cut in its asking price—we can say it seems like a good bargain for a unique space in a great location.

The one-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bathroom space on in the heart of the East Sixth Street entertainment district can boast that it's a truly old-school loft conversion. The two-story building it's located in was originally a produce warehouse in the 1980s and was converted to the kind of open-plan residence typical of the loft style in 2007.

Although its address is East Sixth, it’s an end unit, which means it’s not directly on the street and subject to as much noise as other units. The two-story loft measures 1,228 square feet and has 16-foot ceilings upstairs and 10-feet ceilings downstairs. Its open floor plan means the only interior doors in the loft are to the bathrooms.

The loft has a big balcony space and downtown views. In what was once a working warehouse district, it now has entertainment options all around, including restaurants and bars, newer mixed-use buildings with ground-floor retail, and the eclectic offerings around the now-developing Saltillo Plaza and the existing commuter rail stop a couple of blocks away.
