Tarrytown townhouse asks a surprising $500K

Large, two-story home in great location

We’re not saying $500,000 isn’t a big chunk of change, nor that this Tarrytown townhouse (say that three times fast) couldn’t use some 21st century updates. (The “Man Cave” sign and Red Hawks posters, for instance, could stand to go.)

Nevertheless, for its prime location—near Laguna Gloria, Mayfield Park, Westwood Country Club, and all that, as we know—as well as the fact that it looks to be in good shape, makes it seem to be a pretty sweet deal.

The 1,920-square-foot, two-story unit has two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, with both of the upstairs bedrooms having en suite bathrooms. Even better, both have little nooks that could serve as offices, entertainment rooms, or whatever the buyer wants them to be.

Built (along with the rest of the complex, of course) in 1973, the home also has a fireplace, built-in bookcases, and a butler’s pantry. There are also two parking spaces and a private, fenced back yard.

The galley-style kitchen has stainless appliances and more updates. The property also features wood and cast-iron fencing.

Bedroom-bathroom areas are set up well for a variety of living situations, with both featuring en suite bathrooms and small, secondary side rooms that can be used in a variety of ways.
