Prince would have loved this place (probably)

Purple reigns in $3.8M condo

Let’s see ... purple headboard, possible violet crown visible from the balcony, purple bedspread, purple pool table felt, purple curtains, bar stools, up- and down-lighting in bathroom, rugs, throw pillows, and other accessories—what else would His Royal Badness need?

Oh, right: guitars, lots of ‘em. A giant wardrobe/closet/dressing area. An infinity-edge bathtub for two to three, one that overlooks Lady Bird Lake and the Congress Avenue Bridge (the latter possibly useful for prompting the occasional Batdance). All present and accounted for.

At 2,961 square feet, it’s no Paisley Park, but the condo takes up the entire southeast and southwest corners of the Austonian’s 34th floor, offering perhaps inspiring views (270-degree ones, to be exact), especially on nights the sky turns purple at sunset.

The completely custom residence has two bedrooms and three bathrooms, which includes separate guest quarters with their own entrance.

Luxury features and finishes include European cabinetry’ custom Starphire glass; Miele, Wolf, and SubZero appliances; and Italian marble floors throughout.

The condo also features built-ins, high ceilings, and recessed lighting. In addition, it’s wired for stereo and surround sound.

In addition to its bedroom/office and master bedroom, there are one-bedroom, one-bathroom guest quarters with their own entrance and separated from the rest of the home.

Well, now we’re just getting wistful.
