Unique East Austin property with vintage houses asks $1.3M

Three lots, at least three houses, space in between—all in Holly

It’s not entirely clear how many currently livable structures are on this intriguing property, but it looks like at least three are currently being occupied—and that the occupants of the main house are living in pretty high style, at least aesthetically speaking.

Taking up two addresses and three lots on East Third Street in the Holly neighborhood, it still clocks in at less than half an acre. The main house has two bedrooms and two updated bathrooms, as well as an updated kitchen. It also has wood floors throughout stainless-steel appliances, plenty of natural light, and high, vaulted ceilings. The house was built in 1910 and measures 3,085 square feet.

Here’s where it gets confusing, though: There are two more (adorable) vintage cottages on the property, so we don’t know if that’s the total square feet of all the homes or just the main one.

Similarly, the listing has a total of five bedrooms and five bathrooms, which means three of each have to be in the other buildings.

Whatever the case, it’s in a great, happening location; the listing says it’s zoned SF3; and it has three parking spaces and alley access. Oh, and it’s super-interesting-looking. Could be a great new home for Sekrit Theater.
