How much does it cost to buy a home in the Mueller neighborhood these days?
In an ongoing series with Curbed Austin, real-estate analytics site NeighborhoodX took a close look at the range of sales asking prices per square foot in the area to find out.
A planned development located on the former site of Austin's municipal airport, Mueller is bounded by a short stretch of I-35 on its western edge, which extends southeast along Airport Boulevard, swinging northeast along 38-1/2 Street and Manor Boulevard, and then back west along East 51st Street on its northern border.
“Mueller has perhaps the smallest price range of any neighborhood we've analyzed," said Constantine Valhouli, co-founder of NeighborhoodX.
The current average asking price in Mueller is $275 per square foot, with prices ranging narrowly from $237 per square foot (4213 Berkman Street, a three-bedroom home under construction) to $285 per square foot (4316 Nitschke Street, another new build asking $622,995).
