Austin has no shortage of downtown luxury condominiums (though some might argue with that, since a growing supply in theory indicates a growing demand). Most are duly appointed with with high-end finishes and loads of amenities.

That’s true of this 4,845-square-foot Austonian condo, of course—but the decor, while duly lavish, departs from that of its counterparts in refreshing and sometimes surprising ways.

The departure from design that can be formulaic, especially with spec condos that have never been occupied, is no doubt due to the fact that the year-long renovation was meant to reflect the current owners' global travels.

That means the three-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom home features carefully considered and unique decorative elements suited to its spacious living room, dining/wine room/bar, media room, and three separate terraces that offer nearly 360-degree views from the 50th-floor aerie.

The condo comes with all the Austonian’s community amenities, of course, including a 10th-floor lounging lawn with salt-water pool, spa, cabanas, and kitchen and entertaining areas.

French-oak and Italian Travertine floors contrast with with hand-applied, Venetian plaster walls, wood-veneer paneling, and hand-painted wall coverings. The kitchen features a royal-blue, French La Canache range with a brass hood.

The master suite includes two master bathrooms with separate walk-through closets and a terrace overlooking the lake.

The unit has almost 360-degree views that include the lake and downtown.
