We tend to gush over the home designs of award-winning local firm Alterstudio Architecture, but this Northwest Hills contemporary stands out even among the studio’s many gorgeous spaces.

Built by Austin architectural construction firm Wilmington-Gordon in 2013, with landscape design by Mark Word Design, it was on the market briefly in 2016, when we first featured it. Now it’s back—this time in a private listing with a new broker and asking $325,000 less.

The Northwest Hills home bears all the marks of its star-studded origins, maintaining an outdoor focus while featuring surprising and thoughtful interiors in its fresh, modern design and clean lines. The butterfly rooftop is also a nice touch.

The two-story, 4,175-square-foot home has an open-concept kitchen and living space with a sweet pop of turquoise in the kitchen, a textured backsplash, a modern fireplace, and a hidden television. There are also four outdoor living spaces, a terraced lawn, and a rooftop balcony with putting green.

The dark acacia floors are beautiful detail, as are the floor-to-ceiling windows that transition into a sliding door between the kitchen and outdoor living area. The deck space includes an outdoor kitchen, gas fireplace, and dining area.

The home features a master suite on the main level, a lower level with three bedrooms and a game room, two offices, and four and half bathrooms (including a full bathroom on the top floor).

The top level has a full bath and two extra rooms that both have access to a balcony with a small, rooftop green.

The home has a two-car, side-entry garage, a spacious laundry room with shelving and storage, and retractable window screens
