1808 West 35th Street Apt. 15, one-bathroom studio apartment, 580 square feet, $850/month. This charming-looking Rosedale studio apartment is close to MoPac and walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store, according to the listing. and easy access to Mopac. It has tile floors, off-street parking, and a patio. Rent includes electric, gas, water, and trash/recycling bills. One small (up to 20 pounds) dog or two cats allowed.

The Cove at Saddle Creek, 10601 Manchaca Road, one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartments, 630 square feet, $850/month. Located in a Far South Austin complex built in 2008, this unit has 9-foot ceilings, wood floors, brushed nickel fixtures, and a washer and dryer. Community amenities included a barbecue area, pool, fitness center, and dog park.

District 53, 600 East 53rd Street Apt. 106, one-bathroom studio apartment, 470 square feet, $850/month. This studio apartment in a medium-sized complex is officially tiny but pleasant-looking, with vinyl wood-type floors, custom-color accent walls, and a large walk-in closet. It’s conveniently located (if on a busy street, depending on where the unit is in the complex) to major highways and thoroughfares, the ACC Highland campus, and the vintage shops, bars, and restaurants of its popular North Loop neighborhood.

Treehouse, 2501 Wickersham Lane Apt. 112, one-bathroom studio apartment, 408 square feet, $850/month. Another small studio, this one in the southeast Austin Parker Lane neighborhood is fairly centrally located and convenient for students at University of Texas at Austin via shuttle bus and Austin Community College via Capital Metro’s 311 bus line. Apartments have balconies, black appliances, wood floors, and granite countertops. There’s parking and a pet park, Google Fiber availability, and cable covered in rent.

Westdale Parke, 3543 Greystone Drive Apt. 2-1233, one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment, 725 square feet, $850/month. This one-bedroom apartment in the Wood Creek neighborhood in Northwest Austin offers a bit more space than the others here as well as a number of community amenities including a new tennis court and gym, sand volleyball, fitness center, two pools with wifi hotspots, and outdoor barbecue/cooking areas. Pets are allowed.
