Here are last week’s most and least expensive home sales

The High & the Low

Via Redfin

It’s time again for the High & the Low, a Curbed Austin column chronicling the most and least expensive homes sold in Austin in the last seven days. (Sales information gathered from Zillow, Redfin, and Realtor.) Let’s see what buyers and sellers bought and paid for this week!

A brand-new home on the edge of the Hill Country was last week’s top seller running away. The 8,026-square-foot, three-story home is on a gated, one-acre lot and has five bedrooms and eight bathrooms. It’s listed as “transitional,” style-wise, which we are pretty sure used to be called “soft contemporary.” Some of the home’s many features include Post Oak wood flooring, Venetian plaster walls, Fleetwood stackable doors that connect the vast interior and exterior living and dining spaces (and summer kitchen), a pool, and a spa. It also has an elevator and separate upstairs living quarters that include a full kitchen and full bathroom.

45301 Scenic View Drive. Listed on the market for $5.997 million on Oct. 25, the home sold on Feb. 28 for $5.55 million.

10616 Mellow Meadow Drive. The least expensive home sold this week is an upstairs condo located in a complex in the Northwest Anderson Mill area. The 952-square-foot home has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a fireplace, and updated flooring in the main living area.

Listed on Feb. 7 for $134,000, it sold on Feb. 27 for its asking price.
