The Central Austin home owned by one of Austin’s most famous residents, Lance Armstrong, just hit the market for a whopping $7.5 million. An updated Mediterranean-style beauty built in 1924, it’s sited on close to half an acre across the street from Pease Park in the historic Old Enfield neighborhood.

While the 8,158-square-foot home has been remodeled for contemporary lifestyles (especially spendy lifestyles), it retains quite a bit of its original style and charm. The three-story home features spacious living areas on the first floor and five bedroom suites on the second level as well as seven and a half bathrooms. There is also a large bonus area/optional bedroom with a full bathroom on the third floor.

The fenced, meticulously landscaped estate that includes towering Live Oaks also features a pool with a fountain, a covered outdoor living area, and a separate pool house with a full bathroom and a kitchenette.
