Welcome to Curbed Comparisons, a column that explores what one can rent or buy for a set dollar amount in various Austin neighborhoods. Is one person’s studio another person’s townhouse? Let’s find out! Today’s price: $367,000 (Austin median home price for February 2018).

1307 Kinney Avenue #103, two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom condo, 1,209 square feet, $365,000. A two-story unit built in 1984, this Zilker condo is a prime location and walkable to tons of South Lamar hot spots. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, and master bedroom has a balcony. The downstairs open living-kitchen area has a fireplace and hardwood floors. There are two reserved parking spots in front of the unit.

5605 Rio Chama Cove, three-bedroom, two-bathroom house, 2,149 square feet, $369,000. Built in 2014, this custom home in a subdivision dubbed Sweetwater Ranch northwest of town near Lakeway. A one-story house on a cul-de-sac, the single-story home has kitchen with a large center island open that opens to the living room, and a lush backyard with a custom fire pit and a covered porch.

5204 Andover Place, two-bedroom, one-bathroom house, 988 square feet, $370,000. An updated house with midcentury features built in 1955, it’s single-family home located on a cul-de-sac in Windsor Park. Its large, private yard backs to wooded creek area and features mature trees, a deck, and a screened-in porch. It has hardwood floors throughout the house and a number of floor-to-ceiling windows.

305 Wood Bine Drive, three-bedroom, two-bathroom house, 1,116 square feet, $365,000. Located in South Austin’s West Congress neighborhood, this one-story home was built in 1972 and has been renovated to include “wood look” tile flooring, updated fixtures, upgraded granite counters and cabinets in the kitchen, and recently installed appliances, roof, AC unit, and ductwork.

1406 Brentwood Street Unit B, two-bedroom, one-bathroom detached condo, 761 square feet, $364,900. A remodeled, detached condo might be a great way to get a foothold in the popular central-city Brentwood neighborhood. All home systems have been updated, and the one-story home has stainless appliances, polished concrete floors, and custom cabinets, as well as a large backyard with a new fence.
