Welcome to the Curbed Austin’s weekly Open House Tour, because who doesn’t love a little real estate gawking? This time around, we’re looking at what’s on the market in Central East Side neighborhood(s).

↑ This two-story vintage cutie in East Cesar Chavez has tons of charm and many original/period features, including longleaf pine floors, high ceiling, and original-looking doors and transoms, windows, and baseboards. The 2,382-square-foot house was built in 1907 is listed for $850,000. Open house Saturday, 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

A fairly new condo in Rosewood, this three-story unit will set you back $489,000, plus $231/month in HOA fees, which cover guest parking, community garden, an outdoor kitchen, and a small dog park. It was built by MX3 Homes, which thrown up quite a few of these small condo complexes on the East Side over the past few years. The home features wood flooring, stainless appliances, and a master suite with a private balcony. Open house Saturday, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

↑ Built in 1945, this updated single-family bungalow is in the very popular Holly neighborhood, near serious quantities of restaurants and bars and not far from downtown and green space along the river. It looks light, bright, and larger than its 991 square feet. It also has a compact but cute, shade-covered backyard and patio. It’s listed for $489,000. Open house Sunday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

↑ A 1,252-square-foot, technically detached condo just north of East Seventh Street, this unit is in a small complex and includes an attached garage. Asking $389,000 with no HOA fees, the three-story space features stained concrete flooring downstairs, an open living area and all-white kitchen on the second ,and a master suite with a balcony on the top floor. Open house Sunday, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

↑ Located off East 12th Street across the street from historic Downs-Mabson Field is this two-story single family home, at 1,824 square feet on a fairly sizable lot, a rarity in an area where condos or smaller, older homes tend to be the norm. It’s asking $564,000 and has several updates as well as a master bedroom with a balcony offering downtown views. Outside there some nifty extras, including a 5,000-gallon rainwater collection and watering system, custom stone landscaping that includes a patio with misting fan & sun sail, a hot tub, and three raised-bed organic gardens. Open house Sunday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
