It’s a safe bet that Austin has more marathons than marches (or parades). If there were going to be a fully realized Women’s March on Texas this weekend (there won’t—but there is an Austin Women’s Rally, hosted by Texas Reproductive Rights, at the Capitol on Saturday), the scale would have tipped slightly the other way, but we’ll have to settle for one of each this week.
The 25th annual 3M Half Marathon, benefiting Austin Youth River Watch, is first up—closures listed for the former are Downtown only; see the map below for the full route. (Maps and info via the Downtown Austin Alliance website, as per usual.)
