This brand-new home at 1002 Charlotte Street in Clarksville was recently listed by Wade Giles at Moreland Properties but not in the MLS. It was built by Spaller Glover, a firm that specializes in homes with an old-world European bent—sometimes Tudor-Alsatian, sometimes castle-like, sometimes Hill Country/modern farmhouse/Tuscan.

This time, the home has a gingerbread-storybook look, with deeply peaked gable roofs, a wraparound porch, and some romantic decorative elements on the exterior. Being a new build, it hews modern farmhouse on he inside but still manages to contain some quirky nooks, crannies, ceilings, and windows like you might find in an older, remodeled Victorian.

The two-story, 2,412-square-foot home has three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. Fixtures and finishes are high-end, of course, and included custom cabinets, herringbone oak floors, marble countertops, and name appliances. There’s a fenced backyard and, unusually for the neighborhood, a pool.
