Is Garrison Park even considered “far” South Austin anymore? The neighborhood is certainly popular and convenient to major thoroughfares, and still has affordable apartments such as this one-bedroom, loft-style unit measuring around 557 square feet. There aren’t a lot of details in the listing, but it looks like it’s a true one-bedroom, off the kitchen downstairs.

The UT-campus area is one of the few centrally located parts of town where there are plenty of apartments in the $800-$900 price range. East Riverside-Oltorf
