Five home for lease from East Congress to Brentwood—which one would you choose?

Located in the formerly light industrial, redeveloping East Congress neighborhood south of Highway 290, the 1,081-square-foot unit features an en suite master bedroom with a walk-in closet, high-end finishes, solar shades, and ceiling fans. Common amenities include a gym, pool, yoga room, and clubhouse on the roof. There’s also a dog park, so presumably pets are allowed.

Located in the Springdale-Pecan Springs area of East Austin, this one-story, single-family home is renting for $1,900/month. The house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms and measures 1,457 square feet. The recently opened Tyndall At Robertson Hill has a fourth-floor condo apartment available for $2,195/month. The one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit measures 780 square feet and features downtown views, designer decor, and a stackable washer-dryer. Amenities in the luxury complex, which is located in the Guadalupe neighborhood of Central East Austin, include a grotto area with kitchen, grills, and refrigerators, a courtyard with a fire pit, a rooftop pool, and a dog park. Pets are allowed.

Located in the historic Hyde Park neighborhood, this duplex apartment is in a vintage bungalow has been gutted and remodeled with completely new interiors but retains an exterior design that blends with surrounding homes. Renting for $2,200, the two-bedroom, one-bathroom home has two bedrooms and one bathroom and measures 909 square feet. Its features include the original wood floor, shiplap accents, vaulted ceilings, skylights, a deep soaking tub, a semi-private yard, and two parking spaces.

This unit in north-central Brentwood sublet is listed as an apartment, but it looks like it at least originated as a single-family home.
