For those willing to sacrifice some space for a stylish contemporary that undeniably telegraphs high-end luxury, a one-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bathroom apartment in The Richardson—designed by Dick Clark + Associates—might be just the place. Located in Tarrytown and designed without stairs (it has elevators), the small, resort-like complex stands out from buildings and locations aimed at a younger, maybe rowdier, demographic. The apartment measures 1,208 square feet and rents for $3,500/month.
Located in the South Lamar neighborhood, this two-story townhouse is no great shakes, aesthetically, on the outside—although it does have a nice, fenced yard and patio in back as well as shared outdoor space in its six-unit complex. The interiors of the 2,000-square-foot home, however look airy, bright, and updated. Renting for $3,500/month, it has three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms.
For $3,495/month, you get lots of space (2,216 square feet) and vintage style galore with this one-story, single family home. It’s also conveniently located in the East Austin’s Blackland neighborhood and across the street from Oakwood Cemetery and therefore tucked away from the more bustling areas that surround it. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a cast-iron fireplace, and many other original features.
At 1,728 square feet, a multistory luxury apartment in West Lake Hills might not be the biggest home you can rent for $3,500/month, but the double-height living-area ceiling and fireplace, views, and forested setting could certainly make up for that. There are also lots of high-end materials, finishes, and fixtures to be found in the two-bedroom, two-bathroom home. It comes with an attached, two-car garage as well.
A prime location in the Bouldin Creek neighborhood is no doubt one of the reasons behind the price ($3,400/month) for this two-story, contemporary duplex space. But it also has the clean-lined look beloved by many, a seriously luxe master bathroom, and a private backyard deck. In addition to its high ceilings, tall wooden doors, abd concrete and bamboo floors, it has two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
