There’s only one significant set of downtown street closures this weekend, but it’s a big one: More than 400,000 people are expected to attend Austin Pride festivities this weekend, and thousands will likely be marching in the parade Saturday.

Courtesy of the City Stage page on the city’s website, here are street closures and a parade route map.

Austin Pride Parade 2019

Saturday, August 10, 8 p.m.-11 p.m.

Route: Starts at East 15th Street, travels south on San Jacinto Boulevard, right on West 11th Street, left on Congress Avenue, right on Fourth Street to Republic Park.

Most road closures will be in effect at 5 p.m.

San Jacinto Boulevard between East 15th and East 11th streets, however, will be closed from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Streets and intersections will reopen as the end of the parade passes. Intersections at Fifth and Sixth streets at Congress Avenue will close at approximately 8 p.m. and will re-open as soon as the parade passes those intersections.
