A three-bedroom house renting for $2,275 offers Hyde Park convenience and vintage charm, as well as 1,566 square feet, one and a half bathrooms, and a detached garage. It has wood floors, built-in bookshelves, glass-fronted kitchen shelves, a fireplace, and a wraparound porch. Pets are allowed.

You can get all fancy in the Flatiron at the Domain in North Austin with this two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment, currently available for $2,335 per month. It measures 1,060 square feet. The apartments look to have some nifty finishes and whatnot, but the listing emphasizes community amenities, including a pool and lounge, a pet-washing station, and bicycle storage.

While this 810-square-foot duplex condo In Holly is situated across the street from the decommissioned power plant entrance, it’s also surrounded by green spaces, including Metz Park and Festival Beach, and blocks from popular Eastside entertainment spots. Renting for $2,350 per month, it has one bedroom and one bathroom, new appliances, an in-unite washer/dryer, and a private carport with alley access. Pets are allowed.

If being in the middle of things and having access to big Downtown views is your thing, this 865-square-foot apartment in the Gables West Avenue building, renting for $2,238 per month, might suit. Located in a mixed-use building sited along Shoal Creek, it has an industrial-loft look, with concrete floors, open floor plans, and inventive layouts. The complex has a courtyard pool and a rooftop deck. Pets are allowed.

More vintage charm can be found south of the river, in the form of this two-bedroom home on a leafy Travis Heights lot. Renting for $2,300 per month, the 1,020-square-foot home has one bathroom, hardwood floors, a front-porch swing, and a backyard deck. Pets are not allowed.
