Austin’s 10 most popular Instagram spots

View as Map

It's not exactly news that Austin is now a year-round tourist attraction, but sometimes its hard to see the city through a visitor's or newcomer's eyes. Where do they go, what do they do, and—most important—what photos do they post on social media?

Instagram was recently kind enough to hook us up with a list of the 10 most geotagged locations in the Austin area. Many would not necessarily be our top picks in terms of must-see places or places to experience the subtler sides of our city's landscape, but they definitely make sense here. You won't see Mayfield Park or even the Museum of the Weird here, as the top five are event venues. What you will see, though, is that Austin is still very much a music city.
