The oldest homes for sale in Austin right now

View as Map

Our friends at NeighborhoodX have once again set us up with a fun chart to map. This time, their research turned up the oldest residences currently for sale in Austin.

The building dates of oldest houses in Austin for sale right now range from 1882 to 1915, so they are between 101 and 134 years old.

The prices for these historic houses range from $470,000 (1907 Garden Street), built in 1910 to $3.9 million (210 Academy Drive, a Victorian five-bedroom blocks from South Congress).

On a per-square-foot basis, these range from $264/square foot (1310 East Second Street, a large home in East Cesar Chavez) to $477/square foot (3912 Avenue G in Hyde Park, a classic, 5,030-square-foot Victorian asking $2.4 million). We're excluding 1108 West 11th Street and 210 Academy Drive from this (asking $900/square foot and $1,365/square foot, respectively) because they have been valued according to development potential rather than the current structure.

Map list is in descending order from newest to oldest homes.
