Austin's most and least expensive homes on the market

View as Map

Data analytics site NeighborhoodX has been at it again, this time compiling lists of the most and least expensive homes currently on the Austin market. Curbed Austin mapped the findings, which revealed—or perhaps confirmed—that the city is not exactly full of mixed-income neighborhoods. The priciest homes, in other words, are to the west, and mostly by the water. Lower-priced homes, all condos in this case, tend to be far north and southeast.

The most expensive residences in the city range in size from 2,961 square feet to 20,708 square feet, with prices as low as $7.75 million and as high as $25 million. In comparison, the least expensive listings run in price from $83,000 (with $207/month homeowners' fees) to $118,000/$113 HOA fees. On a per-square-foot basis, prices run from $130 per square to $6,370 (with the higher end somewhat distorted by the amount of land that comes with the house).
