Pokémon Go Austin: 15 nests in area parks, latest updates

Parks! parks! parks! Also a zoo

View as Map

In the world of Pokémon Go, it seems, the only constant is change. While we haven't seen a major change in the operation and locations of nests since August, there are tweaks being made constantly. We have updated our map of local parks that are particularly dense with different types of Pokémon accordingly.

The modified map should lead you to nests of Onix, Bellsprouts, Charmander, Kabuto, Onix, Seel, Magmar, Shelder, Voltorb.

It's also a good guide to local parks; however, we left off parks that are open to their surrounding communities and neighborhoods only, as we've gotten reports of players being confronted for being in them. If we mistakenly included a private park here, or if we've missed some nests, please let us know in the comments below or hit the tipline.

As always, we are pretty much entirely dependent on the Pokémon Go Austin subreddit and commenters for this info. Also as always, please Pokémon Go carefully.

And, yes—it appears people are still trying to catch 'em all. Good on 'em!

It's not surprising that our 307-acre park in the middle of town has a very high rate of Diglet>/i> spawn, is it? You'll just have to work around festivals—and/or go to them—on some weekends.
